More than 2,200 people joined the OKCMOA for New Year’s Eve, December 31, 2012. Members enjoyed the Preview event of Illumuniations: Rediscovering the Art of Dale Chihuly and Chihuly: Northwest. The Museum was a first-time Opening Night event. Revelers participated in activities including four sold-out performances from OKC Improv in the theater and live jazz in the Founders Hall from Bruce Benson and Maurice Johnson. The Museum Cafe a had sold-out evening as well. At 11:30pm more than 300 people went to the roof terrace for a special view of the Opening Night fireworks at midnight.
