Oklahoma City Museum of Art is seeking an experienced IT/Network Administrator for the Museum in Downtown Oklahoma City, OK.

Position includes installing, maintaining and supporting computer communication networks within our organization, and ensuring consistent security, integrity, and operation of the company's software, servers, and data.  Additionally, this position provides internal support by installing and upgrading user work stations and telecom devices as well as troubleshooting and resolving technology/system issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain, support, and developcompany networking devices and server components
  • Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all PC hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance
  • Assist end users withmatters related to operating systems, network infrastructure, applications, and remote connectivity
  • Provide training and technical support for users with varying levels of IT knowledge and competence.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimumthree (3) years experience as a Network Administrator; hands-on experience with network,

application, and desktop support.

  • Proven knowledge in ethernet networks, Windows OS, Windows Server administration, and MS Exchange.
  • Proficientin Microsoft Office Products, Active Directory and 2000 Server, 2003 Server, XP Pro and Mac 15.

VPN Software, wireless bridges, access points, interent gateways and wireless devices.

  • Competence in IT infrastructure planning and development.

EDUCATION & TRAINING

  • Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science and/or Equivalent Technical Certifications
  • A team player with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proactive approach to technological opportunities.
