Education
Education is an essential component of the mission of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, and it is our goal to offer an outstanding variety of educational opportunities for the entire community.
Adults can take part in Museum School classes, enjoy travel tours with friends, broaden their understanding of arts and culture with engaging lectures, or share their love of art with others by joining our docent program.
For professional educators, the Museum provides online exhibition resource guides, circulating teaching aids for educators to use in their classrooms, and teacher workshops that will better assist them in preparing students for their visit.
And there’s always something fun for families! Participate in studio art workshops or enjoy casual art-making activities during Saturday Drop-In Art and family day themed events. Or check out a Discovery Pack and experience the galleries with sketchbooks, scavenger hunts, and hands-on art projects.
The Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s education programs are made possible by Sarkeys Foundation and Sonic, America’s Drive-In Education Endowments. Additional support provided by Kerr Foundation, Inc.
