Parent/Child
Enjoy interactive learning in the arts with age-appropriate activities designed for children with a parent, grandparent, or caregiver.
PORTRAIT SWAP, Ages 3-5 Let’s visit the galleries to look for all the different people we can find in works of art. Then, we’ll create our own portraits of each other, adding color and decorating our pictures with a collage of patterned papers! Please no younger or older siblings; this is a special class for just you and your preschooler.

Join Amanda and her son Aiden in a fun class that focuses on the alphabet! First, we’ll read a story about the alphabet, while enjoying a snack of ABC cereal pieces. Then, children and parents will play a game in the gallery, finding things that start with different letters of the alphabet. Next, we’ll return to the classroom to make a painting by stamping alphabet letters all over our papers. Finally, we’ll finish up by singing the alphabet song together! Please no younger or older siblings; this is a special class for just you and your toddler.
