Additionally, the Museum partners with Hearts for Hearing, an organization devoted to providing individuals with hearing loss to learn to listen and talk, to host a summer camp for children.
A new partnership with NewView Oklahoma allows the Museum to participate in their OWL Summer Camp, a free week-long camping experience for children ages 8 to 18 who are blind or vision impaired.
In 2012, the Museum began providing activities for Thunder Kids Club. Children are encouraged to stop by the Museum’s table to create hats, puppets, and more before and during one home game a month.
In addition to these partnerships, the Museum began an ever-growing program in 2011 called Healing Arts. Through this program, the Museum is able connect with members of the community that may not be able to attend the Museum for medical or health reasons.
