Photography Policy
General Photography Guidelines:
• Any commercial and/or public use – Permitted only by the written consent of the Executive Director
• Commercial research and education – Permitted only by the written consent of the Executive Director
• Agree to Copyright laws
• Use of tripods, light stands or more than one operator – Fully Restricted and permitted only by the written consent of the Executive Director
Photography is permitted in the following areas of the Museum:
• Classrooms
• Administration
• Museum Store
• Museum Cafe
• Chihuly Exhibition (3rd Floor West)
Photography is limited in the following areas of the Museum:
Library:
• Permitted only by written consent of the Executive Director
Lobby:
• Still and Video Photography – Flash Permitted
Permanent Collection Galleries:
• Still photography only – No Flash
• Museum School Photography Classes – Still and Video Photography Permitted with Tripod, No Flash or lighting
Special Exhibitions:
• Exhibit by exhibit basis according to the exhibit contract
Theater:
• Fully restricted during screenings
• No restriction at any other time
Filming Policy:
Same guidelines as written above however filming must take place on Mondays when the Museum is closed to the public. Requests should be made 30 days in advance. It is recommended a walk-through take place in advance with the Facility Manager. Make requests to Leslie Spears.
