SONIC PRESENTS FREE FAMILY DAY
Join us on Sunday, March 31st from 12-5 pm for SONIC Free Family Day at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. The theme of the day is Design, Sculpt, Create, inspired by the special exhibition Off the Wall: One Hundred Years of Sculpture. Museum admission and all activities are free!
Stop by the studio to create colorful paper sculptures inspired by artist Alexander Calder, and find inspiration in Lisa Hoke’s Come on Down Oklahoma as you contribute to a collaborative community sculpture in the galleries. Sign up for a library card and check out books with the Metropolitan Library System in our lobby. While you are here, don’t forget to take a photo with your favorite SONIC mascots. Catch a screening of the New York International Children’s Film Festival Kid Flicks Film at 12:30 & 3:45 pm.
Plus, get ready to pack the dance floor at 2 pm, because here comes Sugar Free Allstars! Performing in the Samuel Roberts Noble Theater, this Grammy- featured, family funk super duo from Oklahoma City has been listed as one of Time magazine’s top 12 family music acts in America. They blend elements of soul, rhythm & blues, disco, gospel and New Orleans street parade music to provide a high energy rock show experience that has been described as a funky, foot-stompin’, hand-clappin’, body movin’ and groovin’ dance-until-you-drop party for all ages!
Thank you to SONIC!
