Reception & Conversation

Join your fellow OKCMOA Moderns for The Art of Collecting, an art collecting reception and conversation hosted by the OKCMOA Moderns. Enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a conversation with Bryon Chambers and Maury Ford of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. They will introduce three exciting, new additions to the Museum’s permanent collection and discuss the various ways the Museum has built its collection over the years, including the important role private collections play in the acquisition process. Following the program, attendees will have the opportunity to view the Museum’s recent acquisitions in the galleries before leaving the Museum to begin their own art collection at Festival of the Arts.
