Are wheelchairs and walkers available? We have several wheelchairs and walkers available that are first come, first served.
Can I bring a backpack into the galleries? Backpacks and large bags are not allowed in our galleries. We offer lockers for 25 cents, which are located in our coat room. Please ask one of our Visitor Services staff members for details.
Can I bring food and/or drinks into the galleries? Food and drinks are NOT allowed in the galleries in order to preserve our works of art for future generations. You are welcome to eat and drink in our lobby and Founders Hall areas. We also offer the Museum Cafe, a full-service restaurant serving lunch, dinner, Sunday brunch, and afternoon tea. Reservations are encouraged during busy times, such as lunch and Sunday brunch.
Can I take pictures in the Museum? Yes! Please, no flash or selfie-sticks. We encourage guests to share photos with us by using #okcmoa.
Where are your changing tables located? Changing tables can be found in the family restrooms located in the coat room, and in the restrooms across from the elevators on each floor.
How much are tickets? Adult tickets are $12. Discounted tickets are available for former military members ($5), seniors ($10), students ($10) and children ($10). Children ages 5 and under are free. Student and military tickets can be purchased in person only with valid ID and cannot be purchased online. Members of the Museum receive free admission every day.
What age is considered a senior ticket? 62 years and older.
Does my ticket include access to the entire Museum? Yes, tickets include admission to the entire Museum, including OKCMOA’s permanent collection, any special exhibitions on view, and Dale Chihuly: Magic and Light.
How do I schedule a group tour? Group tours MUST be scheduled in advance by calling (405) 278-8213.
Pricing for group tours is as follows:
Adult Tours (15 or more): $7 per person.
Senior Tours (15 or more): $6.50 per person.
School Tours (Oklahoma K-12 Students): Free (ask us about transportation reimbursement!).
School Tours (Outside of OK/College Students): $3 per student
GALLERY + STUDIO tours (includes art-making in our classroom in addition to time in the galleries): Pricing available on request.
How can I request a ticket donation from the Museum for an upcoming fundraiser? Please fill out our request form and we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Please note, we are not able to donate Museum memberships.
Do you offer a discounted group rate? Yes! We offer a discounted ticket price for groups of 15 or more. Please call (405) 278-8213 or visit our Tours page for details.
LEARNING & ENGAGEMENT
Can I sketch in the Museum? Yes! We encourage sketching with pencils in the gallery. We do not allow paint, pens, markers, or any wet media.
I am a teacher who would like to bring a student group to the Museum, how can I plan our trip? School tours for Oklahoma K-12 students are 100% free for teachers and students and include transportation reimbursement. Student tours MUST be scheduled in advance by calling (405) 278-8213.
Is there a mobile guide I can access on my phone to learn more about the art? Yes, OKCMOA’s mobile guide can be accessed at guide.okcmoa.com.
Are all pieces in the collection on view at all times? The size of our collection prohibits us from having all pieces in the collection on view at all times. Therefore, we rotate what is on view in the Museum and encourage you to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for questions about specific pieces.
Will the Museum appraise artwork? The Museum is prohibited from offering valuations, appraisals, or authentications of artwork. If you have something you would like valued or authenticated, try one of these resources: Sotheby’s, Bonham’s, Art Dealers Association of America, The National Antique & Art Dealers Association of America, Appraisers Association of America, or American Society of Appraisers.
