SONIC FREE FAMILY DAY: THE ART OF THE BOOK

SONIC Free Family Day is back at OKCMOA and this time we’re celebrating in honor of our fall exhibition, Sacred Words: The Saint John’s Bible and the Art of Illumination! Enjoy free admission and a host of hands-on art projects and in-gallery experiences throughout the entire Museum. We’re happy to welcome Diane von Arx, artist from The Saint John’s Bible, to demonstrate her calligraphy techniques along with many more family activities!

SONIC Free Family Day features:

Free admission including the special exhibition Sacred Words: The Saint John’s Bible and the Art of Illumination

Calligraphy Demonstration: Diane von Arx, artist calligrapher for The Saint John’s Bible

Family film: The Secret of Kells, screening at 1 & 3 pm
