Annual Fund

Donate

Support your Oklahoma City Museum with a 100% tax-deductible gift today. With your support, we can continue our mission of enriching lives through the visual arts.

The Oklahoma City Museum of Art is proud to provide our community with an extraordinary museum experience. From our newly redesigned collection Chihuly Then and Now: The Collection at Twenty, to our immersive exhibition Kiarostami: Beyond the Frame, the Museum provides a wealth of opportunities for Oklahoma students, teachers, and families to encounter artworks not seen anywhere else.

Access to these exhibitions and the educational experiences that OKCMOA provides, either virtually or in-person, is a sought-after experience for Oklahoma educators and families. Over the past year, OKCMOA school and teacher programs served over 4,700 students and their teachers through in-person school tours and Virtual Field Trips. The Museum hosted over 5,400 visitors for our Free Family Discovery Weeks, providing free admission and gallery access, as well as daily art-making activities inspired by our exhibitions, The Perfect Shot: Walter Iooss Jr. and the Art of Sports Photography and Chihuly Then and Now. We were proud to welcome nearly 16,000 children and youth to the Museum over this past year to experience our galleries, learn from our educators, and participate in art-making activities, but we could not do it without the support that we receive from our donors.

Your tax-deductible gift to the Annual Fund provides unrestricted dollars for the Museum’s annual operating budget, ensuring that your donation has the greatest impact. Your gift will help us continue to welcome students, teachers, and families to explore our collection in-person and provide opportunities for our exhibitions to reach the farthest corners of our state. Every donation makes a difference, no matter the amount.

With your help, we will continue to achieve our mission of enriching lives through the visual arts.

Additional ways to give to the Museum:

IRA DISTRIBUTION

  • If you are 59 ½ or older, you can take a distribution from your IRA and make a gift to OKCMOA without penalty. If you itemize your deductions, you can take a charitable deduction for the amount.
  • If you are 70 ½ or older, you can give any amount up to $100,000 per year from your IRA directly to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. You will not pay income taxes on the transfer. If you are 72 or older, you can use this transfer to satisfy your required minimum distribution.

APPRECIATED STOCK
You may enjoy two tax benefits with a gift of appreciated stock: Avoid paying taxes on the appreciated value and qualify for an income tax charitable deduction based on today’s market value, when you itemize.

DONOR-ADVISED FUND
Contribute to a donor-advised fund and enjoy a tax savings on that amount when you itemize.

CORPORATE MATCHING GIFT PROGRAM
Did you know many companies offer matching gift programs that could double (or triple) the impact of your donation? Visit okcmoa.com/join-give to see if your company is on our Corporate Matching Program list and how to add them if they’re not!

MEMORIAL GIFT
Memorial contributions are a touching way to let the family know that your thoughts are with them. When you make a memorial contribution, the family is notified of your thoughtful donation. You can make a memorial contribution online or by sending your gift to the Museum at the address listed below.

In one year, OKCMOA served 16,000 children (K-12) both onsite at the Museum and in the community at large. Help us continue to provide high-quality art education for children and young adults in our community by making a gift to the Annual Fund.
