Double your gift

Support your Oklahoma City Museum with a 100% tax-deductible gift today. With your support, we can continue our mission of enriching lives through the visual arts.

The mission of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art is to enrich lives through the visual arts. We invite you to support the Museum by donating to the OKCMOA Annual Fund. Your tax-deductible gift to the Annual Fund provides resources to fulfill our mission by providing an extraordinary museum experience for our community.

Your donation can help the community in so many ways. Through the Healing Arts program at SSM Behavioral Health, you can help to enrich the lives of over 1,000 children and teens each year, by providing hands-on visual arts experiences that connect them to the Museum while they are in in-patient care.

You can enrich the lives of hospital caretakers through our new Bite-Sized Art program; serving 100 St. Anthony hospital doctors and nurses each quarter with a therapeutic and creative arts-based break from their strenuous hospital schedule.

You can enrich the lives of children and families through our Drop-In Art program which enhances the Museum experience by encouraging visitors to make their own works of art inspired by our exhibitions.

You can make these programs possible with your donation. Your generosity helps the Museum enrich the community it serves. With your help, we will continue to achieve our mission of enriching lives through the visual arts.

DONATE NOW

Your Annual Fund gift can help the Museum provide:

  • $25 provides clay for one unit of patients (25 children and teens) to create sculptures in OKCMOA’s Healing Arts program

  • $50 provides free sketchbooks to 25 children visiting the Museum

  • $75 provides canvas panels for 120 healthcare employees to participate in Bite-Sized Art

  • $100 provides admission for 15 seniors with dementia to attend Making Memories for 1 month

  • $250 provides free admission to 15 art therapists from SSM Health

  • $500 provides a classroom set of supplies and a training session for each therapist at SSM Behavioral Health to use with their groups

  • $1000 provides materials for 200 hospital staff to participate in Bite-Sized Art as part of the SSM Care for the Caretakers program

Any donation makes a difference, no matter the amount.

IRA DISTRIBUTION

  • If you are 59 ½ or older, you can take a distribution from your IRA and make a gift to OKCMOA without penalty. If you itemize your deductions, you can take a charitable deduction for the amount.
  • If you are 70 ½ or older, you can give any amount up to $100,000 per year from your IRA directly to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art. You will not pay income taxes on the transfer. If you are 72 or older, you can use this transfer to satisfy your required minimum distribution.

APPRECIATED STOCK
You may enjoy two tax benefits with a gift of appreciated stock: Avoid paying taxes on the appreciated value and qualify for an income tax charitable deduction based on today’s market value, when you itemize.

DONOR-ADVISED FUND
Contribute to a donor-advised fund and enjoy tax savings on that amount when you itemize.

In one year, OKCMOA served 16,000 children (K-12) both onsite at the Museum and in the community at large. Help us continue to provide high-quality art education for children and young adults in our community by making a gift to the Annual Fund.
