Film Society offers greater access to OKCMOA’s film program through quarterly events that include screenings and discussions with special guests. In addition to events, Film Society members enjoy two film passes and an additional discount on film tickets. Click to learn more about Film Society events.
On view through April 9, members receive free admission to this multimedia retrospective survey of artworks by acclaimed Iranian filmmaker, photographer, and visual artist Abbas Kiarostami. In conjunction with the exhibition, the Kiarostami Film Retrospective offers screenings of Kiarostami’s feature films in the Noble Theater every Thursday evening that are included with Art After 5 admission and free for members!
A visitor-favorite festival of flowers, Art in Bloom features floral sculpture interpretations of works from OKCMOA’s permanent collection, all crafted by designers from the Oklahoma City community! These exciting floral works will be displayed in-gallery and throughout the Museum and will be complemented with floral-inspired programming and workshops that are discounted for members.
For a more private experience, members are invited to attend Art in Bloom during the Member Preview Hour on Saturday, April 15 from 9-10 am before the Museum opens to the public!
Best known for its exceptional art collection, the Oklahoma City Museum of Art’s unique spaces are ideal for a variety of events – including engaging cocktail parties, elegant dinners, corporate meetings, film screenings, intimate private celebrations, exceptional photo opportunities, and wedding ceremonies and receptions. Screening in conjunction with OKCMOA's multimedia exhibition Kiarostami: Beyond the Frame (October 15-April 9), this retrospective film series highlights the poetic beauty, resonant humanism and formal experimentation of Iranian artist Abbas Kiarostami's work in cinema. | This series is presented in memory of Jeanne Hoffman Smith and in partnership with Janus Films.

Join the OKCMOA Film Society for a special 35mm screening and discussion of Jean-Luc Godard's Vivre sa vie (My Life to Live, 1962). Starring the late New Wave auteur's muse and collaborator, Anna Karina, as a struggling would-be actress, Vivre sa vie is a stylistically inventive and emotionally resonant work that still feels undeniably modern more than sixty years after its release.
