In this fun and creative watercolor workshop for teens, students will explore how to paint dramatic landscapes using just a few simple colors. Inspired by the black-and-white photography of Ansel Adams, the class will focus on building strong compositions, creating mood with light and shadow, and using tonal washes to bring a scene to life.
No experience necessary—just a love of nature and a willingness to experiment! Teens will leave with their own powerful landscapes and new skills in working with contrast, texture, and expressive brushwork.
This class is designed for teens ages 13 through 17. All supplies will be provided.
For questions regarding the class or registration, please email Programs Manager Neely Simms at nsimms@okcmoa.com.
