In commemoration of Bastille Day, Museum Films is proud to present a curated festival celebrating the best of contemporary French cinema, July 12-15!
This year’s French Film Week program features a delectable mix of crowd-pleasing hits and festival favorites that includes sparkling comedies, elegant thrillers, lyrical romances, and a postmodern rock opera.
The series opens on Thursday, July 12 with Olivier Assayas’s rarely seen early masterpiece, Cold Water, making its American debut in a new 4K restoration. It closes with a special sneak-preview of Xavier Giannoli’s The Apparition, screening at OKCMOA in advance of its official US release.
Celebrate Bastille Day in style! Enjoy a French wine and cheese tasting on the mezzanine following the 5:30 pm screening of Cédric Klapisch’s mouth-watering wine-country drama Back to Burgundy on Saturday, July 14.
$30 per person (includes tax and gratuity). Please make reservations with the Museum Cafe at (405) 235-6262.
Museum members receive $5 tickets to every film in our French Film Week series, and all other Museum Films screenings. For more information about joining OKCMOA, visit: http://www.okcmoa.com/membership/
As always, an assortment of beer, wine, and spirits will be available at our theater bar.
