Weekend features free programming for military members and family
OKLAHOMA CITY (October 15, 2026) — The Oklahoma City Museum of Art (OKCMOA) is proud to continue its Military Appreciation Weekends in collaboration with the United Service Organizations (USO) this November.
This weekend-long event aligns with OKCMOA’s mission “to enrich lives through the visual arts” with the USO’s mission “to strengthen the well-being of the people serving in America’s military and their families,” providing days where service members, veterans, and their families can experience all the Museum has to offer free of charge.
“The USO is immensely grateful to the partnership of the Oklahoma City Museum of Art in support of our nation’s military service members and their families. With the unwavering support of patriotic communities and companies, like the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, the USO can deliver impactful programs and services designed to strengthen the well-being of our military community – completely free of charge,” said Jennifer Waters, Area Director, USO Oklahoma. “The USO and Oklahoma City Museum of Art are making a profound and lasting impact on the lives of the people serving and their families, ensuring they receive the appreciation they deserve.”
