Discover the vibrant world of Paul Reed, a leading figure of the Washington Color School, celebrated for his bold geometric abstractions and dynamic use of color. In this class, participants will closely examine Reed’s distinctive approach to composition, form, and movement before creating their own abstract paintings inspired by his techniques. Through guided exploration and hands-on practice, you’ll gain a deeper appreciation for Reed’s artistic vision and the expressive potential of color and shape.
This class is designed for adults aged 18+. All supplies will be provided.
If you have questions regarding the class or registration, please email Senior Programs Manager Neely Simms at nsimms@okcmoa.com.
Bonus! Stop by the OKCMOA Bar before class—registrants are welcome to bring a drink to enjoy a relaxed, paint-and-sip experience.
