Discover the power of light and shadow in this guided painting class rooted in Ansel Adams’s dramatic aesthetic. Working in monochrome or limited palettes, participants will explore tonal range, atmospheric depth, and strong composition to create expressive landscapes. Through guided instruction, registrants will learn to capture the emotional impact of the natural world—not just what it looks like, but what it feels like.
This class is designed for adults ages 18+. All supplies will be provided.
For questions regarding the class or registration, please email Programs Manager Neely Simms at nsimms@okcmoa.com.
Bonus! Stop by the OKCMOA Bar before class—registrants are welcome to bring a drink to enjoy a relaxed, sip-and-paint experience.
