John Bramblitt is an internationally acclaimed artist and author who has earned much recognition, including three Presidential Service awards for his innovative art workshops. John lost his sight sixteen years ago and paints by touch. We’re pleased to host a lecture demonstration and book signing featuring this talented artist!

This event is in collaboration with NewView Oklahoma.

Ticket details:
$5 for non-members | Free for members

Tickets are first come, first served and available at the box office beginning at 10 am on the day of the event.

Schedule:
11 am- Artist lecture and demonstration: John will share more about his story and his approach to creating art as he works on a canvas live. Participants will also be allowed to experience a display of his artwork by touch.

12:30 pm – Book Signing for Shouting in the Dark: My Journey Back to the Light. Books will be available for purchase in the Museum Store.

In addition to the lecture and book signing, there will be a workshop open to the public.
