11 am & 2 pm: Exhibition highlights – Join us in the gallery for a 30-minute overview of Renewing the American Spirit with OKCMOA staff!

6 pm: Lecture – “Dorothea Lange’s ‘Migrant Mother’: Art or Propaganda?” by Mark Dolph, Curator of History at the Gilcrease Museum.
Was Migrant Mother an exemplary example of documentary photography, a once-in-a-lifetime “shot,” or the work of a highly skilled photographer using her subject and the power of photography as propaganda, intended to inspire and affect social change?
