Join us at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art for a dynamic day of discovery, connection, and creativity! Our Teacher Workshop is designed for educators who are looking to refresh their perspectives, explore new ideas, and earn professional development hours in an engaging setting.
This hybrid workshop will focus on the iconic photography of Ansel Adams, with sessions exploring the physics of light, history through photography, and more. Participants will receive lesson plans to introduce their students to photography, instructions for related art activities, and guidelines for integrating technology into classroom learning.
Whether you join us in person at the Museum or tune in virtually, you’ll gain valuable tools to bring back to your students, all while experiencing the power of art to inspire learning across disciplines. Expect hands-on activities, interactive sessions, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow educators from across the region.
Registration is required. The cost is $10 for in-person participants; virtual attendance is free.
