Gather your clique, put on those overalls, find that CD Tommy burned for you in junior high, and head to the Oklahoma City Museum of Art for a totally fetch time on Thursday, March 21!
This month we are celebrating decades past with our monthly Third Thursday event. All evening long, enjoy food and drinks while you take in the nostalgic hits of the 70s, 80s, and 90s by local duo Kristen Stehr & Lee Velasquez. Decorate slap bracelets and build your own beaded keychains with our learning and engagement team in Founders’ Hall located on the first floor.
Looking for something more in-depth? Join us in Classroom C for our presentation, “Making a Place for a Museum: A History of OKCMOA,” with Staci Sanger of Downtown OKC Partnerships and our very own Bryon Chambers at 6 pm. Afterwards, take an intimate look at our wildly popular special exhibition Ansel Adams and the Photographers of the West, with a guided tour at 8 pm. These are available at $15 for members and $25 for non-members. How about a movie? Grab your tickets now for the 1985 mega-hit Back to the Future, showing in the Samuel Roberts Noble Theater at 7:30 pm. To purchase tickets, click the event times.
Third Thursday, presented by Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, is FREE to members and $12 for non-members. Become a member today and save big on all of our exhibitions and events!
