OKCMOA’s December lineup offers a mix of brilliantly acted award-season highlights, timeless classics, and artful documentaries. Screening as part of our annual Awards Season Preview series, Richard Linklater’s Blue Moon delivers a witty real-time exploration of creativity and collaboration, featuring Ethan Hawke and Andrew Scott, and Mary Bronstein’s electrifying drama If I Had Legs I’d Kick You returns for an encore screening. Art lovers can revel in Exhibition on Screen – Caravaggio, a stunning documentary uncovering the life and legend of the revolutionary painter. Returning to theaters in celebration of its 25th anniversary, Edward Yang’s masterpiece Yi Yi is presented in a gorgeous new 4K restoration. Complementing these contemporary and international gems, our Technicolor Wonderland matinee series brings vibrant mid-century classics to the big screen, including a dazzling new restoration of Singin’ in the Rain, the glamorous Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, holiday favorite White Christmas, and Ozu’s charming Good Morning.
