September 2021 Updates

Why were these updates made?
Ultimately, these updates will enable us to better serve our members! These updates were based on an analysis of our membership data and member survey results, with the goals of streamlining our membership options and providing additional benefits for our mid-tier Fellow level. Click here to review updated pricing and benefits for our membership levels.

Are members losing any benefits?
No! Most membership levels are actually gaining benefits. Current Dual, Fellow, Friend, and Sustainer members can start using these added benefits now.

How do these updates affect NARM and ROAM reciprocal benefits?
NARM and ROAM reciprocal program benefits, offering free admission to 1,100+ museums in North America, are now offered beginning at the Dual level! Current Dual members can update their digital membership card in the coming weeks to reflect this added benefit (your card must show the NARM and ROAM emblems to use this benefit). Fellow, Friend, and Sustainer members continue to enjoy NARM and ROAM reciprocal benefits.

What are the new benefits of the Fellow level?
The updated Fellow level is perfect for members looking to take advantage of all that OKCMOA has to offer! Fellow, Friend, and Sustainer members will now automatically have access to Moderns and Film Society benefits and can expect e-vites to any upcoming events for Moderns or Film Society. Additionally, Fellow, Friend, and Sustainer members will receive invitations to two annual Fellow events with special presentations by Museum staff. Click here to view all benefits.

What if my membership level is no longer offered?
Now that Moderns and Film Society are automatically included for Fellow, Friend, and Sustainer members, the following levels will not be available for any new memberships or renewals: Fellow+Moderns, Fellow+Film Society, Fellow+Moderns+Film Society, Friend+Moderns, Friend+Film Society, Friend+Moderns+Film Society, Sustainer+Moderns, Sustainer+Film Society, Sustainer+Moderns+Film Society. In the coming months, current memberships at these levels will be transitioned to the Fellow, Friend, or Sustainer level.

How do these updates affect my auto-renewal?
Auto-renewing memberships will renew at the updated price for your membership level. You will receive an email reminder 2-3 weeks prior to your auto-renewal, and you are able to cancel your auto-renewal at any time. To cancel your auto-renewal or renew at a different level, please call (405) 278-8207.

Using Your Membership

How do I sign-in on the website to receive my membership benefits?
The first step is to set up your online account. Click here to register and create your online profile.

How do I update my contact information?
You may speak to anyone at the admissions desk, or call our membership office at (405) 278-8207. Many member communications (e.g. weekly newsletter, exhibition and programming announcements, member event invitations, membership renewal notices, and digital membership cards) are sent via email, so be sure that you have submitted your preferred email address.

When does my membership expire?
Your membership is valid for 12 months, and will expire one year from the end of the month of purchase. If you are renewing your membership before it expires you will receive 12 months from the date of your current expiration.

Can I renew my membership before it expires?
You may renew your membership at any time before your expiration date and one year will be added to your existing membership expiration date. (i.e., If your membership expires at the end of November and you renew in October, your membership will be good through the end of November of the following year.)

Can I upgrade my membership before it expires?
Absolutely! To upgrade your membership, speak to our admissions desk or call (405) 278-8207. You’ll simply pay the difference in price for your new level of membership. Members have the option to pay the full amount to renew at the time of upgrade, so the new membership will be good for an entire year and not just the remaining months of their original membership.

What are the membership office hours?
