This month, in conjunction with OKCMOA’s landmark photography exhibition Discovering Ansel Adams, Museum Films highlights cinematic explorations of America’s geographic, historical and cultural landscape like Roberto Minervini’s immersive Civil War drama The Damned, Alexander Horwath’s sweeping historical essay Henry Fonda for President, and John Ford’s Oscar-winning dustbowl saga The Grapes of Wrath. Our June lineup also features new 4K restorations of Akira Kurosawa’s Ran and the rediscovered Iranian masterwork The Sealed Soil, American indie festival favorites The Life of Chuck and Friendship, a David Lynch-themed Film Society event, and the 2025 deadCenter Film Festival.
