Museum Films is proud to present a complete retrospective of Whit Stillman’s feature films, October 24-27!
Indie film’s foremost chronicler of the romantic lives of the urban haute bourgeoisie, Oscar-nominated writer-director Whit Stillman brings Lubitschian elegance and Austenian charm to his exquisitely written comedies of manners. From a witty and wistful 80s-set trilogy about yuppies in love to a screwball campus comedy and an enchanting adaptation of Austen’s “Lady Susan,” Stillman’s stylish, thoughtful and thoroughly entertaining body of work marks him as one of contemporary American cinema’s most singular talents.
