Included in this gallery are traditional maritime paintings from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, beach scenes, and seascapes that more closely follow the landscape tradition. This gallery also includes a set of twentieth-century works whose compositions reflect an abstract approach in their portrayal of the sea.
