President’s Tour:

Ansel Adams and the Photographers of the West

Enjoy an exclusive after-hours private tour of “Ansel Adams and the Photographers of the West” with OKCMOA’s President and CEO

When President and CEO E. Michael Whittington arrived in Oklahoma City from Monterey County, California, he brought with him a keen appreciation of the Western landscape and deep understanding of the work of Ansel Adams and other California photographers. During his tenure, Whittington has initiated two exhibitions devoted to this theme. Join Michael on an exclusive, private tour as he shares his insights on the photographers and the places that he knows so well. As a special treat, he’ll invite you to join him in an area of the Museum’s storage vault to view new photography acquisitions and learn how we care for these special works of art. At the conclusion of the tour, enjoy a glass of wine in the Museum Store where you’ll receive a special gift from Richard Bruner, Store Manager.
