Film Series: French Film in July 2025
- In celebration of Bastille Day, Museum Films is proud to present our annual curated program of the best of new and classic French cinema. This year’s French Film Week Festival features an award-winning culinary coming-of-age tale, a sparkling political comedy starring Catherine Deneuve, a slyly suspenseful drama from esteemed director François Ozon, a surreal Star Wars spoof from gonzo auteur Bruno Dumont, and a special sneak preview of modern master Olivier Assayas’s autobiographical lockdown hangout comedy “Suspended Time.” French Film in July also features a three-film retrospective of rarely seen bohemian seaside vacation idylls from French New Wave director Jacques Rozier.
